1- على المبتدئين أيجاد معاني الكلمة الموضوعة بين الأقواس في الجمل التالية:

Ineloquent: من ليس له القدرة البلاغية
Mungo: ألياف تصنع من الخرق الصوفية البالية وتغطى باللباد (ألياف رخيصة الثمن)
Phenakite: نوع من الزجاج المعدني يحتوي على نوع من السيليكات ويظهر بصورة خاصة على شكل بلورات معينيه الشكل (سداسي الأوجه)
Pronk: يقفز بالنسبة لنوع معين من الحيوانات (البقر الوحشي)
Antelope: بقر الوحش أو ظبي
Selcouth: نادر أو غير مألوف (لفظ قديم)
Tyrotoxism: التسمم بالجبن
Wistful: تواق
