السياسة التعليمية في البلاد العربية
من البديهي أن السياسة التعليمية في أي بلد من البلدان تسعى ابتداء إلى تعميق روح الهُوية القومية؛ كونها أهم مقومات وجودها وخصوصيتها. وتأتي اللغة في مقدمة هذه المقومات؛ ولذلك تفرض الدول تعلم لغتها على كل من يأتي للدراسة لديها، حتى ولو كانت هذه اللغة غير مستخدمة في بعض التخصصات التعليمية، ونحن نتفهم ذلك..
غير أن اللافت في كثير من البلدان العربية، هو انتهاج سياسة معاكسة تمامًا لما عليه دول العالم؛ حيث تفرض أغلبُ الدول العربية اللغةَ الإنجليزية أو الفرنسية في عدد غير قليل من التخصصات الجامعية، وعلى رأسها التخصصات التطبيقية. وكأن العربية قد عقمت وعجزت عن تعريب مصطلحات تلك التخصصات.
لقد كانت العربية الأداة التي نقلت الثقافة العربية والحضارة الإسلامية إلى العالم، واستطاعت - بما تملكه من خصائص - احتواء ثقافات الأمم الأخرى وعلومها، مع محافظتها على متانة أصولها وثبات جذورها. والعربية كذلك لا تزال قادرة على استيعاب كل جديد؛ وتجارب تعريب التعليم الجامعي في العصر الحديث – التي أثبتت نجاحًا باهرًا على قلتها- لخير دليل وشاهد على ذلك.

As if Arab had sterilized and unable to localize those terms disciplines.
Arabic has been a tool that transmitted Arab culture and Islamic civilization to the world, and was able - with its characteristics - contain other nations cultures and sciences, while maintaining the strength of its assets and the stability of the root. Arabic as well as still being able to accommodate all the new; experiences of the Arabization of university education in the modern world- which later on proved at least distinguished resounding success - this the best evidence for that.
