My eyelids have opened upon a dream
Oh, look around! All this expanse so blue
Extending from east... to west
where I have sails and a canoe.
My visions lead me away as if I were
traveling to the gate of the absolute, so it seems!
If I return... I'll have a horizon in my hands
And if I meet my end… I’ll drown in dreams

أوْليس
الشاعر اللبناني الراحل أنور سلمان
مُتَفَتِّحٌ جَفْنِي عَلَى حُلُم.
فَتَلفُّتِي، هَذا المَدَى الأَزرَقْ.
مِنْ مَشْرِقِ الدُّنْيَا ... لِمَغْرِبِهَا،
لِي فِيهِ أَشْرِعَةٌ وَلِي زَوْرَقْ.
لَكَأَنَّنِي، وَرُؤَايَ تَبْعُدُ بِي،
سَفَرٌ إلى بَوَّابَةِ المُطْلَقْ!
فَإِذا رَجَعْتُ... فَفِي يَدِي أُفُقٌ،
وَإِذا انْتَهَيْتُ... فَفِي الرُّؤَى أَغْرَق.
