Does she eat fava beans with oil, like me"
and drink tea
?stronger than night sorrows
Does she wake up in the morning"
,go to the toilet
?and do what other women do
Does she get tired for a few days
?during the lunar month
?Does she ever sweat"
And when she pours a few sweat drops"
,like pearls and crystals
?how do they taste
Do they have"
?musk’s savor mixed with roses’ longing
And if she fell into a river of pure milk"
?would it turn murky
And if she killed someone"
,would the judge try her
or would he refer the victim to forensic medicine and prove
,that the he was a coward
,a member of the Brotherhood... who had blasphemed
release her
,on bail of her cheek roses
and pay her in return
"?for her tender feet

هل تأكل مثلى فولا بالزيت
وتشرب شايا أثقل من حزن الليلِ
وهل تصحو فى الصبح
وتذهب للمرحاضِ
وتفعل ماتفعله النسوةُ
هل تتعب اياما فى الشهرِ العربىِّ
وهل تعرقُ
حتى لو عرقت قطرات كاللؤلؤ والبللور
فما طعم العرقِ
وهل
يجمع مابين المسكِ و بين حنين الورد
وهل ان سقطت فى نهر حليبٍ صافٍ
هل يتعكر لون النهر
وهل ان قتلت احدا
سيحاكمها القاضى
ام سيحيل المقتول إلى الطب الشرعى ويثبت
أن المقتول جبانٌ
عضوٌ فى تنظيم الآخوان... يسب الدينَ
ويفرج عنها
بكفالةٍ ورد الخدين... ويمنحها مالا أجرا لحنان خطاها
