A very short story by ahmed sikal
Tentatively translated into English
by Dr Abdullah Kurraz

"The Defeatedness"

He put around his waist the explosive belt. I wore my red shirt. We marched side by side. Clearly, the red color of the shirt will relieve the tension scene of the blood! We arrived at the very crowded public square. He wonderingly looked at me! I made a hint at a child caressing the doves, which were landing to search for food seeds. We continued our walk reaching at the door of a large spacious building. He looked at me asking about something, I becked a large weighing machine, decorating the gate of the building, carefully supported by stones, and I pointed to aggrieved people crowding around the building looking for a way for the equity of the two scales without the stones! We kept walking and passed by a mosque and a public market, and another of a high quality. Each time he made a hint, I replied with a nod till we reached an old cathedral, standing at its gate a very old man with a
black suit. I looked at him and he nodded to keep on walking
