Mr. Baker; What I was saying is that you simply downplayed the problem and rather oversimplified what otherwise is a major issue that's becoming very problematic for the government, and creeping ever slowly by the minute to resemble a full-fledged civil war. This conflict has gone unresolved for five years and has been very costly in terms of human lives, resources, and most importantly, is threatening the unity of Yemeni people.

Its mind boggling to think a deadly conflict of this magnitude begins with something as petty as police attempting to arrest a man - Al Huthy- who was a former member of the Parliament. Is there something a miss here.? Not withstanding the root cause of the conflict and who was more responsbile for the the latest escalation, the reasons it has gone this long without a resolution lay for the most part at the doorsteps of President Saleh's government

..It is my sense, OK more or less my guess, is that President Saleh has made a major miscalculation in his undertaken efforts of securing a future for Saleh Jr. as Yemen's next President, by way of mastering the games of Tribal and Sectarian politics, and things quickly got out of hand.. I hope my guess is wrong!i
