انشات مدرسة العلم في عام 1999 لرعاية فئة خاصة من المجتمع الفلسطيني وهم الدين فقدوا ابائهم, لدا تضم الطلاب الايتام وابناء الشهداء لتقديم الرعاية الخاصة لهم, حيث تستقبل المدرسة ستين طالبا في الصف الثالث الابتدائي الاساسي, هدا وقد بلغ عدد الطلاب في العالم الدراسي الحالي 560 طالبا من جميع محافظات قطاع غزة موزعين علي الصفوف الاساسية من الثالث وحتي الحادي عشر.

المنهج الدراسي: تعتمد المدرسة المناهج التي اقرتها وزارة التربية والتعليم الفلسطينية كاملة, لكن اضافة تدريس مبحث الحاسوب للصف الرابع والثالث الاساسية, وتحفيظ جزء من القران الكريم سنوبا لجميع طلبة المدرسة.
الترجمة: scholastic curriculum: a curriculum accrited by the ministry of education is implemented in the school; however, computer classes are added to the 3rd and 4th primary grades and learning a chapter of the Holy Quran yearly as well.

النظام الدراسي: يدرس الطلاب خمسة ايام اسبوعيا اما يومي الخميس والجمعة من كل اسبوع عطلة رسمية للطلاب والمعلمين. وبدرس الطلاب 35 حصة اسبوعيا بواقع 7 حصص يوميا, اي بزيادة 5 حصص اسبوعيا مقارنة بمدارس التابعة لوزارة التربية والتعليم ولا يتجاوز عدد الطلاب في الصف الواحد عن 30 طالبا لكي يتلقي الطلبة تعليما مميزا.

الترجمة: scholastic students are instructed five days weekly. fridays and thursdays are holidays for all students and teachers. That is, they do not have to attend classes on these days. students attend 35 classes weekly. clearly, 7 classes are allocated for each day which means that the number of classes is more than the other ordinary palestinian schools. There are 30 students in each class to give them the chance to receive knowledge distinctively.

الخدمات المقدمة: تقدم المدرسة العديد من الخدمات لمجانية مثل المواصلات مجانية, وجبة غدائية , الفرطاسية, الزي المدرسي, الكتب المدرسية وغيرها.

اما بخصوص مدرسي اللغة الانجليزية , تتضمن المدرسة 5 مدرسين لغة انجليزية حاصلين علي درجة البكالوريوس في التربية الانجليزية. يفوم نشرف وزارة التربية والتعليم بالاشراف عليهم بالاضافة الي مدير المدرسة لتزويدهم باهم استراتيجيات التدريس الحديثة في تدريس اللغة الانجليزية وطرائق تدريسها.

Al Elm school was established in 1999 for a special part of the Palestinian society; those who have lost their parents. The number of students in this academic year is 560 students from all the governorates in Gaza province contributed to the primary grades from the third to the eleventh.
Curriculum: The school adopts the curriculums approved by the Palestinian ministry of education, but with adding computer study for the primary third and fourth grade and memorizing a chapter of the holy Quran each year to all the students.

School system: Students study 5 days each week, but every Thursday and Friday of each week are an official holiday for teachers and students. Students have at least 35 classes each week, 7 classes per day which means adding 5 more classes comparing to the schools of the ministry of education. Students' number of each class does not exceed 30 students so that they'd receive an excellent education.

They are characterized by youth and the desire of continuous giving with no fatigue or boredom and the ability of rejuvenating, creativity and true belonging to the school.
As for English teachers, the school includes 5 English teachers having the bachelor of English teaching degree. They are supervised by the Ministry of Education in addition to the head teacher to provide them with the most important strategies and methods of English language teaching.

Al Elm school was established in 1999 for a special group of the Palestinian community ; those who have lost their parents. So, the school is prepared for receiving orphans and martyrs' children to concern them with a special care. The school receives 60 students in the primary third grade. The number of students in this academic year is 560 students from all the governorates in Gaza Strip contributed to the primary grades from the third to the eleventh.


المنهج الدراسي: تعتمد المدرسة المناهج التي اقرتها وزارة التربية والتعليم الفلسطينية كاملة, لكن اضافة تدريس مبحث الحاسوب للصف الرابع والثالث الاساسية, وتحفيظ جزء من القران الكريم سنوبا لجميع طلبة المدرسة.

The school personnel consists of the headmaster and a secretary. The number of teaching staff this year has reached 32 of specialized teachers and all of them have been awarded bachelor or license(licentiate) certificates in their specializations(domains- majors). They are characterized by being youth , having the desire of continuous giving with no fatigue or boredom and the ability of renovation(rejuvenating- revitalizing –reviving) , creativity and the genuine feeling of belonging to the school.

As for English teachers, the school includes 5 English teachers have been awarded the bachelor of English teaching degree. They are overseen and supervised by a supervisor of the Ministry of Education, in addition to the headmaster that provides them with the most important state of the art ( up to date – cutting edge---modern ) strategies and methods of English language teaching
