In the heart, my lady
The boats are buoyant
Come on, get on board
Sail in my soul
And beware of its
Rough waves.0
I’ll calm down the waves, my lady
Sleep there
And assign me a sentinel.0
The birds of winter sanctuaries have arrived
Carrying on their wings
A cloudy sky
With feathers of lightening and thunder
Stretching to unknown ending.0
I’ll shout in the face of lightening
And thunder:0
Don’t raise your voice
The little queen is asleep.0
سيدتي النائمة .... ملاك الصمت
كرمل البرغوثي
في القلبِ سيدتي
القواربُ عائمةْ...
هيا اركبيها،
أبحري في مُهجتي...
ولتحذري موجاتِها
المتلاطمةْ...
سأهدِّئُ الموجاتِ سيدتي أنا...
وعيِّنيني حارساً...
نامي هناكَ
جاءت طيورٌ من محاريب الشتاء
على جناحيها
سماءٌ غائمة...
والريشُ من رعدٍ وبرقٍ
ليس يعرفُ خاتمةْ...
سأقولُ في وجه الصواعِق ِ
والرُعودْ...
لا ترفعوا من صوتكم...
إن المليكةَ نائمة...
